Kavitha Dental Care opened on November 14, 2018, in a modest 10 × 10 ft space. The vision was clear from day one: a practice built on trust, ethical care and a genuine relationship with every patient.
Founded by Dr. Suvetha Kiran alongside Kiran Srinivasan, KDC grew through something more valuable than advertising: the recommendations of its patients. Today, KDC has created 8,351 smiles across two clinic locations in Maduravoyal and Nerkundram. The foundation hasn’t changed: listen carefully. Treat responsibly. What started in 2018 from a small, modest clinical space was built one patient and one smile at a time. As Founder & Clinical Head, she guides treatment standards, clinical decision-making, and patient care while ensuring that growth never comes at the cost of the values with which KDC began.

How much do braces and aligners cost?
Indicative pricing: metal braces from ₹28,000, ceramic braces from ₹38,000, and clear aligners from ₹65,000. Your consultation and scan confirm the treatment plan and current estimate. Payment plans or EMI may be available; ask the clinic team to confirm the terms.
Does a root canal hurt?
Root canal treatment is usually performed with local anaesthesia. You may feel pressure during treatment, and some tenderness afterwards is possible. The dentist will explain what to expect and how many visits your tooth may need.
What are your clinic timings?
Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Online appointments are available Monday to Saturday.
Do you treat children?
Yes, paediatric dentistry is one of our key specialties. We follow a gentle, no-rush familiarisation approach so children feel calm, safe and happy during their visits.
Can I walk in without an appointment?
Please call or message ahead to check availability and reduce waiting. If you have sudden severe pain, swelling, or dental trauma, contact the clinic for guidance before travelling.

Root Canal Treatment (RCT)
Keep the natural tooth, comfortably.
Root canal treatment removes infected tissue from inside a tooth, then cleans and seals the canals. A filling or crown may be recommended to restore and protect the tooth. Treatment is usually done with local anaesthesia; the visit plan depends on the tooth and infection.
Root Canal Treatment starts from ₹3,500.
What happens during an RCT?
The dentist examines the tooth and takes any needed X-rays, numbs the area, removes infected tissue, cleans and shapes the canals, then seals them. A filling or crown may be needed afterwards.
Does a root canal hurt?
With effective local anaesthesia, most patients feel pressure rather than pain. Mild tenderness for a short time afterwards can be managed with the dentist’s advice.
How many visits will I need?
Some teeth can be treated in one visit; others need more appointments. The dentist will recommend a schedule after examining the tooth.

A dental implant is a small post placed in the jaw to support a replacement tooth. Planning considers your bone, bite, general health, and the restoration you need.

What is the implant process?
It usually includes consultation and scans, implant placement, a healing period, and fitting the final crown. The timeline depends on bone support and the treatment plan.
How long can an implant last?
With careful brushing, regular check-ups, and good gum health, implants can provide long-term service. Your dentist will explain maintenance for your case.
Teeth Whitening

Professional whitening uses a dentist-supervised gel to lighten the shade of natural teeth. A dentist checks your teeth and gums first to decide whether whitening is suitable and which approach to use.
What are the benefits?
Whitening can make your smile look fresher and more even before an event, photo session, or everyday confidence boost. It does not replace cleaning or treat cavities.
What is the procedure and expected result?
After an oral check-up and shade assessment, the dentist protects the gums and applies the whitening system in a controlled session. Results vary with the starting shade, stain type, diet, and maintenance.
Will my teeth become sensitive?
Some people notice temporary sensitivity. We adjust the plan and share after-care guidance to keep the experience comfortable.
How long do results last? Will crowns whiten too?
Whitening is not permanent; staining habits and after-care affect how long results last. It lightens natural teeth, not crowns, veneers, fillings, or dentures, so ask the dentist how these may match your result.
Invisalign / Clear Aligners
Straighter teeth, made to fit your routine.
Clear aligners use a series of custom-made, removable trays to move teeth gradually. Each tray is worn as advised and changed through scheduled reviews.
How does the treatment work?
We assess your bite, take a digital scan or impressions, map the movement, and review the proposed plan. You receive a sequence of aligners with progress checks along the way.
How long does it take, and who is suitable?
Many cases take around 6–18 months, while complex tooth or bite movements can take longer. Timing also depends on wearing the trays as prescribed and attending reviews. An orthodontic assessment confirms whether aligners suit your teeth and goals.
Can I pay by EMI?
Flexible payment and EMI options may be available. The clinic team will confirm the available plan, instalment amount, and terms after your scan and estimate.
